Getting Stiff in Snow

We had been home most of the time this week and we finally dragged ourselves out on Sunday to go to church. It was snowing and the snow had been piling up throughout the night. Man, it was cold. At last, we had to dig out the snow pants. Well, mine doesn't fit anymore, not surprisingly. But I ain't going anywhere without something warm. So, I tied a string just to hold the pants up over my tummy. Worked out just fine. It's time to shop for a bigger one. David was putting up a fight because he didn't want to wear the snow suit and the boots. As soon as he stepped out of the house, he had no more complaints because it was nice and warm wearing them.

you know, it's good for kids to know season, for us who got spoiled by CA weather, the kids end up doing weird things. Brandan and his friend saw kids making snow angel on the movies, and there is no snow so they made sand angels at the play ground. Result...half an hour hair washing and drying to get the sand out of his head...and i am sure he will do it again.

Wah, I can't imagine if David were to make a sand angel, I would be very speechless! :) It must be frustrating but funny too right? Having seasons is wonderful, I just hope they won't take it for granted as they grow up. Maybe when Brandan is bigger you can take him skiing or snowboarding.
