Adirondack Train Ride to Old Forge

David was barely 10 months old when we went on the Adirondack train ride 2 years ago. This year we decided to go again since David loves trains so much. We had to drive for a little over an hour to Utica train station and from there we headed to Thendara, taking the train. David was so bouncy and excited all day long. He went, "choo choo!" all the time. From Thendara, we got on the shuttle bus to go to Old Forge, a little town near the lake. There were many shops and a few restaurants. It was pretty cold that day but at least the rain was minimal. We had a good time even though it was tough going out with 2 kids. Elizabeth was excited too, she screamed/yelled a lot on the train. It was imposibble feeding her outside because she was just too distracted.
