My Lazy Days

Mostly about the Kids and I

Rosamond Gifford Zoo

It was David's third visit to the Syracuse Zoo and it was the first time for Elizabeth. They don't have that many animals unfortunately. But it worked out because it was close by and we didn't have to spend a long time walking.

Sad to say that the kids were so busy snacking that they were more into fighting for food than checking out most of the animals. O well. Our favorite was still the penguins. David kept looking for Shamu. He probably missed Sea World.

We went during noon time and the animals all seem to be taking a nap. I overheard a lady in the zoo saying that the best time to go there was when the weather is cold. I guess the animals would be more active when it's cold. :)

Elizabeth is healing well. Her stitches has come off and she doesn't try to scratch her ear anymore. Her little red bumps are gone too, thank goodness. It has been over a week that David has shared the bed with us. We really can't wait for him to move back to his room again. We couldn't get no good rest! Too bad his room is still sealed up. I am so sick of waiting for the staff to come and kill the mites. If they don't come in tomorrow, I'll totally harass them. Sigh* Does anyone have experience with termites? Mind to share it with me?
