My Lazy Days

I always thought taking care of a baby girl would be much easier than a boy. I guess I was wrong. Elizabeth is not any quieter or calmer than David. She twists and turns when we hold her. She screams and grunts and yells when we leave her alone. When I shower her, she even wants to climb out of the tub now. She sure is a handful. This morning I caught her attempting to crawl when she saw David's juice and Coco Puff left unattended and they were within her reach. I just can't wait until she can move around. I will have no peace then (not like there is any now)

David and Elizabeth play pretty well together (sometimes). David would do all these funky things to entertain her. Sometimes he would rub his big head on her tummy to make her laugh. Sometimes they just look at each other and they would giggle. It's very fun to watch.

A lot of times they just fight for everything. When I hold Elizabeth, David would come and try to claim me. When James holds Elizabeth, David would go and squeeze in between them. Whatever Elizabeth is playing with, David would take it away from her that she ends up crying. But last night, Liz actually fought back. She pushed David away (on the face), dove onto my chest and hung on tight. sigh*
