Sad to say that we've been living in Ithaca for months and this was the first time we visited the Taughannok Park. It was on the other side of the Cayuga Lake, about 25 minutes drive from home. Whenever we passed by that park, we kept saying that we should visit it some time. And now that we are moving soon, I insisted on going there at least once. It was the July 4th weekend and the park was packed. Lots of people boating and having BBQ, very lively. David was having a good time there, running around, checking out boats, dogs, people. Busy bee. I wish I could go out more with him, but I'm so tired all the time. sigh*
Elizabeth is getting very talkative lately. She goes "Ah goo goo" all the time. I can't imagine when she starts to talk. It'll be a lot of fun. For some reasons, she sleeps very well in the hot and humid weather, while everyone else is complaining about the heat. Nevertheless, I would rather endure the heat and have her sleeping more. She's getting heavier that my back hurts while holding her, and she's barely 12 lbs!!! Gosh, I'm getting old.
beautiful place and beautiful family
Your babes are lovely! I used to study in Ithaca way back and I loved the place although actually I was mostly on campus haha.
