We have a big snow day today. It snowed so much that James only had to work half a day. So, we decided to make a snowman for David. It took awhile because the snow was fresh and powdery that it was hard to shape. James was busy building snowman outside in the backyard. David and I waited impatiently inside the house. When it was all done, we went crazy outside because of all the fresh snow. Because of that, we almost forgot to take a nap!
After a few days of snowing, the sun was finally out, although just for a bit. It was freezing cold (19 degrees) but a nice day nevertheless. We didn't dare to venture far so we just went out on the porch and enjoy the snowy view for 5 minutes! It was too cold to stay any longer.
The past Friday, I went in to have my first sonogram. The baby was real shy that the technician was having a hard time getting all the measurement and scans. We were told that we are having a GIRL!!! Not so surprising, huh. I'm so excited. I finally get to shop for those pink little dresses. Speaking of this shy baby, she was hiding low around the pelvis area and wouldn't move up higher. When we caught a glimpse of what she was doing, we saw that she was playing with her own toes, all curled up. The technician bugged her enough that she finally decided to move out of her hiding place. We got to see her profile and her sucking the thumb. Cute.

We had been home most of the time this week and we finally dragged ourselves out on Sunday to go to church. It was snowing and the snow had been piling up throughout the night. Man, it was cold. At last, we had to dig out the snow pants. Well, mine doesn't fit anymore, not surprisingly. But I ain't going anywhere without something warm. So, I tied a string just to hold the pants up over my tummy. Worked out just fine. It's time to shop for a bigger one. David was putting up a fight because he didn't want to wear the snow suit and the boots. As soon as he stepped out of the house, he had no more complaints because it was nice and warm wearing them.
